The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restrooms and showers were kept very clean. There’s direct river access, which is great for swimming and paddleboarding. A really good experience.

The nearby town is great, and having the campsite’s own beach is useful. It’s well run and has good facilities. There are activities, but they didn’t get in the way. I’d definitely recommend it.

We stayed in a tent, so perhaps a caravan or one of the houses would be quieter. The site is clean, and the pool and beach seem great for families, but it was extremely noisy. At night we had to listen to disco music from the campsite on the other side of the river, and in the morning there was noise near the road.

The bungalows maintained by Eurocamp were very good, and the campsite was well equipped. The place is Dutch-run, though only a few staff members spoke much English. At 9:30 pm our grumpy Dutch neighbour got very aggressive because we were still eating and drinking on our terrace while he wanted to sleep. It felt unnecessary.

The river is lovely, but the restaurant isn’t very good. The pool closes around 8, which seems odd. The sanitary building could be cleaner and often had no soap.
