Panoramic Hotel Sancerre

We had a good time here, including a drink beside the pool, and the views are beautiful. The rooms and beds were clean and decent. Breakfast was included and fine, with options like make-your-own soft-boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausage, cold cuts and cheese, croissants, bread, and a little fruit. There’s also a great bar at the hotel.

The staff were warm and helpful, and the modern hotel is well placed for exploring historic Sancerre. Do try to book a room facing the vineyards, the view is amazing. I’d recommend staying here whether you’re on holiday, just passing through, or away for a weekend with friends.

The pool is lovely, though it can get busy, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, with AC. The hotel has no gym, but walking the town’s hills gives you plenty of exercise. Breakfast was fresh and had a good range of continental options, with lovely views from the tables. Staff spoke limited English, so knowing French would make things easier. It’s a pleasant walk to the town square, where there are lots of restaurants. The location and views are great, and we enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stop here, with lovely views over the local vineyards and a chance to try the area's flavours. The modern hotel is well equipped, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The poolside is a lovely spot for a swim and a glass of local wine. In the evening, the staff knew their wine list extremely well.
