la grange aux hirondelles

Sylvie and Jean-Michel made us feel so welcome, and the breakfast was generous and excellent, with things from their garden. We loved the comfortable rooms and tasteful decor. A perfect family stay in a lovely countryside setting. I highly recommend it.

I booked at the last minute and got to sleep in Sylvie's magnificent gypsy caravan. It’s quiet and peaceful out in the countryside, just right for recharging, and the caravan has all the comforts you need. Sylvie was so welcoming, and the breakfast she prepared with such care was divine and more than enough. She also gave me invaluable sightseeing tips for Apremont-sur-Allier 😍. A fantastic night, I’ll definitely be back and will spread the word.

After a day’s effort on the Via Allier, this was such a treat. Sylvie kindly put together a delicious, generous dinner platter, plus excellent sandwiches and slices of lemon cake for our cycling the next day. The gîte is charming, with nice outdoor spots to relax, and she and her husband gave us a very warm welcome. A wonderful find on our trip.

La Petite Fadette is such a relaxing, beautiful place, and the caravan was charming and comfortable. Sylvie and Jean-Michel were attentive, kind and so welcoming. We had a wonderful weekend, and the homemade breakfast was superb. Thank you for such a lovely time.
