The beach is right across the street, and the owners were the best, so friendly and helpful. The place has lovely decor and a positive feel. We loved the cozy bed, both the linen and mattress, and the sofa that turns into a bed was great for movie night. Thanks, Lucie and Xavier. We’ll be back!

The owners were kind and helpful, and the kitchen had everything from cookware to condiments. We could park in the driveway right by the front door. The apartment is just outside Calais center and about 10 minutes from the Eurotunnel. There’s no air conditioning, though they brought us a fan when we asked. We could open the kitchen window, but kept the bedroom windows shut because of all the spiders on them. Thankfully, they were outside. The little staircase at the entrance is very narrow, and there was only hand soap, no shower gel or shampoo.

The beach is right across the street, which was a real bonus, and we had a good stay. It’s a very nice apartment, and the owners are pleasant and respectful. We knew in advance there was no Wi-Fi, but the bed wasn’t very comfortable.

The owner was really pleasant, and the location was excellent. There was enough equipment in the kitchen, though it’s a shame the bedding wasn’t comfortable.
