Everything was perfect, from the clean, well-organized rooms to the pool and beach. But really, in France, there wasn’t a corkscrew in the kitchen?

The beach was lovely and quiet, with a gently sloping shoreline that felt safe for little kids. The pool and loungers were nice too, though the long list of poolside rules was a drawback, especially for children. They weren’t even allowed to toss a ball around. Our bungalow was spacious and spotless, with a great big kitchen, a lovely veranda, and plenty of privacy and shade from the large parasol. The park itself is beautiful and the traffic on the busy road outside is barely noticeable once you’re through the gates. Reception was professional and efficient, so we got settled quickly. Wi-Fi was terrible throughout our week. Reception blamed damage from an earlier thunderstorm in the mountains. A bakery and supermarket are a four-minute drive away. The surrounding area wasn’t very appealing for a walk to get ice cream or sit on a terrace, despite being a tourist hotspot in this part of Corsica. There are few restaurants or cafes even in the nearby harbor.

The grounds were spotless and very well maintained, and it was peaceful throughout our stay. Our chalet was spacious, with plenty of room between units for privacy. The residence is right by the beach and also has a pool and gym. A lovely place to stay in Corsica.

The setting is quiet, with a nice chalet, a good pool, and the beach right beside it. The location is great, but the space between chalets varies a lot, and ours in the Prestige category felt cramped compared with other Prestige chalets. They’re not old, though they’re already showing some wear. The pool incident was frustrating: my daughter cut the sole of her foot, so we immediately put on pool shoes and told a staff member. We were still told off and told pool shoes weren’t allowed. Absurd.
