The windows were literally shaking from the noise, and at 2 a.m. we still couldn’t sleep. There was a concert right in front of the hotel. I know it’s summer, but we’d driven all that way to rest at what was meant to be a quiet, rustic hotel. When I asked the owner whether the music would be a problem and how long it would go on, they assured me it wouldn’t disturb us with the air conditioning on and the windows shut. They should have been honest before confirming the reservation. And in reply to the owner: How were we supposed to cancel our room at 10 p.m. in the middle of August and find somewhere else to sleep? Is that really your answer? When we arrived, the music had just started and wasn’t that loud. I asked right away if it would be an issue and how long it would last, and you told me it wouldn’t bother us while we slept if we kept the windows closed. Being honest about it would have been the right thing to do!

The waitress was very nice. The food was enjoyable in its own way, since we ended up laughing a lot at how poor the quality was.

A decent place with nice people, though they don't speak English.

The old man behind the counter came across as smug, and he was very unpleasant and rude, even by Corsican standards.

The hosts were friendly, and the rooms were nice. The hotel is right in the center of a pleasant village, with meals served on the patio.
