The mountain views and well-equipped kitchen were real highlights, and the host was quick and easy to communicate with. But the stay also had a fair number of problems. The Wi-Fi kept dropping and needed reconnecting, the sofa wasn’t comfortable, and the bed felt too small for two adults. There were spider webs on the ceiling and mold in the shower, plus some bulbs needed replacing. The TV was tiny, and the kitchen had no salt and very few other basics. We also had only two dishwasher tablets and not enough toilet paper. The apartment has a modern renovation and a good location, so it has potential. More supplies, better cleaning, and a bit more attention to guest comfort would make a difference. We hope the host takes the feedback on board for future stays.

The owner was easy to reach and very helpful, and the third-floor apartment was kept in great shape. The view was fantastic. I’d happily recommend it for either a short visit or a longer stay in this lovely village.

Eva went out of her way to sort out another place for us in the village when a logistical problem on the host’s side meant we couldn’t stay at Fontana de Medge as planned. We’d booked three nights over the August 15th weekend, and she found the alternative without causing us any inconvenience. That earns plenty of praise, and it’s made us want to come back soon and stay in one of her apartments. Thank you.

The welcome was warm, and we even received gifts of Saorge jams and pasta. The apartment was recently renovated, comfortable, and very well equipped. Everything we needed for a pleasant stay in a picturesque village was there. We highly recommend it!
