Suite - Home Orleans Saran

We had a lot of trouble with the charging stations on site. The location is handy, close to the highway, while the rooms are basic and breakfast is okay but nothing special. The same room cost 40 euros more than last year, 2023, for the exact same month and room.

The best thing about this hotel is its location. We stayed three nights and the room was never cleaned, and it wasn't very clean to begin with. The receptionist didn't ask whether we wanted housekeeping. The air conditioning was so noisy that we didn't sleep well, so I won't stay here again.

Inside, the hotel is smart and very clean, and it works well as an easy-to-reach stopover. There are several restaurants within walking distance in the commercial area. The surroundings are mostly commercial and light industry, so the outlook isn't very attractive. I would have liked to explore more, but there weren't nearby paths leading to parks or more natural areas.

Having a fridge and laundry on site was handy, and being able to save on eating out made it feel like decent value. But the beds are extremely hard. Wood sticks out along the bed edge, so my husband banged his shins and I scraped my legs getting in and out, with the trundle exposed. The bathroom light is automatic and switches off while you're showering, leaving you in the dark. It also takes a while to turn off after you get back into bed following a bathroom trip, which can disturb you. Towels are small compared with those at other hotels. They don't clean until you leave, and there's a 50 euro charge if you don't clean the kitchen. Is there a cement factory down the road?
