The only thing to remember is that the hotel shuts from 12 to 4 pm. We arranged our check-in time ahead of time, though, and had no problems.

We both chose the mid-price menus, which offered a good range of options. Each dish brought in local Basque traditions and was nicely presented in a gourmet restaurant style.

The rooms are really big, and the food is delicious.

A local hotel with a nice restaurant.

The room was roomy and well equipped, and the hotel was wonderfully quiet. Service was impeccable, and parking nearby was both easy and free. It may feel a little dated, but it’s a great value in Sare and has what couples or families need for a good stay.
