The pool was a daily escape for us, especially during the heatwave in our first week. It’s huge, pristine, and kept at a steady, ideal 27-28 degrees. Our cottage at Au Pr de l'Arbre was clean, comfortable, well maintained, and surrounded by peaceful forest and nature. Nathalie and Marc made us feel welcome from booking right through to after our two-week stay. Nathalie speaks very good English, even if she doesn't think so, and was on hand with help whenever we needed it. She came to our rescue a couple of times. Sarlat is a lively, friendly place, with brilliant street performers and live shows and plenty of restaurant choices. It’s a 20-minute walk from the cottage. There’s a steep hill on the way back, but our six-year-old managed it without trouble. With a car, we visited family-friendly spots within a 30-60 minute drive, including Rocamadour, Domme, La Roque, Beynac, Castelnaud, and Gouffre de Padirac. There’s also a zip-wire course and a zoo about 15 minutes away. We’d highly recommend Au Pré de l'Arbre for a family holiday. One of the best we’ve had.

We spent nine nights at Les Oliviers. The house was clean and had everything we needed, with afternoon and evening sun on the terrace. We could hear the road a little while sitting out there, but it wasn’t a problem at night. The pool was lovely and gets plenty of sun. The internet gave us some trouble during the first three days, though fortunately that was sorted out. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, and Nathalie shared some good ideas for things to do. Sarlat village is wonderful, with some good restaurants, and the Perigord Noir is amazingly beautiful.

We had a wonderful week here with our children and grandchildren. Gîte Le Cèdre was practical and thoughtfully decorated, and the Pré de l'Arbre grounds were remarkably peaceful. Nathalie welcomed us warmly and was always there with suggestions for things to do in Sarlat. Thanks again. We wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

We’ve returned to "Au Pré de l'arbre" several times and have always been happy with both the welcome and the setting, close to town but surrounded by trees. Nathalie is attentive and available, and the clean chalets have everything residents need for comfort. They’re not overlooked, either. We always have a perfect stay.

The cottage was just right, and there are incredible sights nearby. We had a really pleasant, peaceful week surrounded by nature. Nathalie welcomed us warmly and shared plenty of good tips and places to go. We highly recommend it. Christel and Nicolas, from Ardèche
