When we weren't sick, the owner Angel gave us personal tips on places to eat in Sarlat and things to do nearby. The ice cream shop in Domme really is excellent. We were there during a heatwave, so the A/C was much appreciated. It was handy to have a kettle in the room, and our bikes were stored securely in the laundry room. We both came down with a nasty stomach bug, me first and my partner a couple of days later, and felt awful. The staff did everything they could to make us comfortable, bringing fresh water and clean towels and offering to go to the pharmacy if we needed anything. Everyone was so thoughtful and kind, which made a tough situation much easier to bear. It's a lovely family-run hotel near the centre of Sarlat, and we'll definitely return to Hotel Saint-Albert when we come back. We really liked Sarlat.

My room was lovely and new, with a brilliant shower, good wifi and a great selection for a delicious breakfast. It's a wonderful hotel in a superb location, with everything within walking distance. The NEW owners, Ama and Angel, are kind and helpful, and speak several languages.

Hotel Saint Albert was a perfect place to stay in the heart of Sarlat-la-Canéda. The rooms were cozy, clean and comfortable, and the hotel was charming and well kept, with an atmosphere that suits this beautiful town. The team made the stay unforgettable with warm, genuine hospitality. They helped with restaurant suggestions and ideas for exploring the region, and were attentive and friendly throughout. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived, including by the hotel boss, who personally checked that everything was right. We can wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Saint Albert and will definitely return to Sarlat. Merci beaucoup!

The owners went out of their way to help, even though I wasn't staying at the hotel. After the taxi I'd ordered in Sarlat let me down, I was worried about getting to my next destination. I popped in to ask where I could find a taxi, and they made several calls until they found one for me. They even offered to drive me themselves if I had more trouble. Such kind people. I'll definitely stay here next time I visit. Easily 10/10 service. The location is perfect, right at the start of the village of Sarlat.

The breakfast was good, with plenty of choice and nice coffee. Our “small room” was actually big enough, and had all the facilities we wanted, including air conditioning. The only slight issue was the AC units just outside the windows of room 107. They have to go somewhere, and since we both wear earplugs to sleep, they didn't really bother us.
