Our hosts were welcoming and helpful, with maps and advice for visiting nearby tourist spots. The garden is pretty, and we were glad to have the pool. Breakfast was a buffet with breads, eggs, compote, cheese and meats, served in a nice dining room. The guest house is up the hill from town, so it’s a good walk or about a five-minute drive. Our room was clean and nicely furnished, with a spacious bathroom and a good shower. There’s no fridge in the room or air conditioning. The weather was exceptionally hot, but the ceiling Velux window helped. I’d definitely recommend the place.

Breakfast under the shade of the big tree was a lovely part of my overnight stay. I had fresh strawberries, croissant, bread and jam, plus an omelette. Everything was excellent, and I slept really well. This family-run bed and breakfast is a beautiful little find, finished to a very high standard. The couple running it were friendly and welcoming. I wish I’d stayed longer. Thanks for having me, and I hope to come back soon. Xxx

The service was great, and breakfast, made with local products, was heavenly. It’s close to Sarlat’s historic centre. The rooms are okay, nothing special. The one drawback is the noise between rooms. It’s an old farm building with really thin walls. Most guests are quiet, but if you happen to have noisy people nearby, I can imagine sleep could be difficult.

Even on a chilly November day, this was a beautiful, very quiet place. The owners were extremely friendly, and breakfast was in the five-star category. Pets are welcome too, and there’s a cat and a dog living there. Really, it’s hard to find anything to complain about. Definitely worth a visit.

A lovely, peaceful place, though the bedrooms are showing some wear. Breakfast was the same each day during our five-day stay, which got boring. The toilet area in room 8 is impossible to use if you’re over 10.
