FRANREAL is a rare find where the owners still look after you with real warmth. Rebecca's care, attention to the small details, and commitment to making the stay memorable went well beyond what we expected.

Rebecca gave us such a warm welcome for our New Year’s Eve stay. We were in the top-floor apartment, with a magnificent view over Sarlat.

The best part of our stay was the owner's care and hospitality. She paid close attention to whether we were comfortable and clearly wanted the visit to be a good experience. The apartment and the owner both get a 10 out of 10 from us. We were four, a couple with children aged 19 and 16, and there was plenty of room. The living room is spacious, with a chaise lounge sofa that turns into two very comfortable beds. The double bed is roomy and comfortable, with several pillows to choose from. Heating throughout was much appreciated after coming in from the freezing street, and there's a decorative fireplace that gives the place a French touch. The apartment is well equipped, with a modern new shower and a kitchen stocked with what you need. Coffee and other basics were provided as a courtesy for cooking. There's Wi-Fi available on arrival, plus a TV with Prime Video, YouTube, Netflix, and other things the youngsters need to stay entertained.

The only drawback in Sarlat was the off-season schedule, as nearly all the shops and restaurants were closed. The town itself is stunning, as is the surrounding area. We stayed two days in this small apartment, which was just right for two. The bed was super comfortable, Netflix was available, and the location was excellent. Parking was easy to find. Rebeca and her husband were lovely and gave us tips on places to see and eat. Thanks, Rebeca!
