The Sarlat site has drawn us back three times now, thanks to how close it is to town and the town itself. We've stayed at Huttopia sites nearly every year for 20 years, and it's reassuring to know we'll find a clean, beautiful site and professional staff whenever we choose Huttopia.

We had a peaceful, pretty stay in a great location, with clean facilities and the nicest staff. The indoor pool was open at Easter, and there was a free Easter hunt for the kids. Nicest campsite we've been to, and we'll definitely come back.

The pitches are nicely laid out beneath the trees, and the indoor and outdoor pools are beautiful and heated. Staff were very helpful and spoke English. It's well placed for the medieval town of Sarlat and has lots of cycle routes nearby.

Huttopia Sarlat is a nice campsite with a friendly team. They gave us personal advice straight away, with genuinely good tips, not just a stack of brochures.

The bar had a friendly evening feel, and the food we tried was good. I didn't use the pool. The facilities were spotless, the showers stayed hot, and everything worked. This is a rustic French campsite, set on terraces, so it won't suit anyone looking for neat lawns and rectangular pitches. Some parts are tight and getting around takes care, but my 8 metre van made it to the top tier. Sarlat is about a 15 minute walk away, with an uphill climb back. I stayed three nights and was glad I didn't let the poor reviews put me off. I'd recommend it.
