8.2/10
10/10
The breakfast was varied and tasty, and the staff were kind and generous. There’s plenty of parking, including charging for electric cars, plus a secure bike locker with charging for e-bikes. Everything was very clean, and the hotel is only about a 20-minute walk from the city center. The rooms are on the small side, as is common in France, and the sound insulation could be better. When the hotel is full, you can hear people in nearby rooms.
10/10
It’s about a 20-minute walk to Sarlat, where you’ll find all the food options. The hotel looks recently renovated, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Reception was friendly and efficient. I also appreciated having a coffee machine in the room. The shower felt a bit cramped, but it wasn’t a major problem.
6/10
There’s a large supermarket just across the street, and the town center is about a 15-minute walk, roughly 2 km away. The receptionist was very helpful despite our poor French. The beds were clean and really comfortable, and the basic room had a TV and coffee machine, fine for a short stay. Check-in only starting at 5 pm was inconvenient. You get an entry code for when reception is closed in the afternoon and overnight. Wi-Fi worked consistently, though it was slow.
8/10
The location was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and just as described.
10/10
The staff were wonderful, really kind and helpful. It’s just outside town, with all kinds of shops nearby for food and other things.
