Camping La Ferme de Lann Hoedic

We stayed for two weeks in summer. The campsite was green, with spacious, clean pitches, and the caravan was basic but clean as well. Food vans serving local food came in the evenings. The woman at reception was very helpful.

We came for three nights at first, then ended up extending our stay to eleven. It was so peaceful, and the English-speaking staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were adequate. There was no paper or toilet seats, as usual, but we managed. We really enjoyed the restaurant’s delicious traditional Brittany food. We were there in May, and after seven weeks travelling around Brittany, this was our favourite site. A lovely place to get away from it all.

We had a small mix-up about the bikes. We thought we didn’t need to reserve them, but later found out booking ahead was advisable. The campsite team helped sort it out, and we were able to hire bikes after all. The cycling nearby is beautiful, so we were glad we got to go. There’s an accessible, pleasant beach nearby, a superb castle, and a well-kept campsite with good wind shelter. The facilities were excellent, and the kids especially loved the bouncing pillow, bouncy castle in the park, and petting the animals. A wonderful little campsite in a superb spot.

We come here every year and love the area, especially the local beach and Sarzeau. Food vans visit the campsite every evening, which is really convenient. In the mornings, you can get fresh bread, pastries, and galettes from the campsite shop. There’s also a cafe.
