Logis Hotel le Louvre

I’m not staying at the hotel, so I can’t comment on it, though it looks lovely. I had lunch on the square outside today and was shocked by the price for what I got. My €19 lentil salad was tiny, more like a side dish, and I’d expected it to keep me going until the evening. A good bed of lettuce and other vegetables would have made it fine. Around the corner, there’s a lovely restaurant serving a huge salad for €18. Nobody likes feeling ripped off. I won’t return.

The owner gives the place its whole atmosphere. She’s a captivating French woman, beautiful, strong and charming. We had the chance to visit the market, and Sault has lovely restaurants and little shops. The hotel itself is a clean, nice little French place in Provence, with Mt Ventoux right there. The hotel and town are real gems.

The hotel has kept its lovely old world charm even after a refurbishment. Since my earlier visit, it has had a new boiler, windows and decor, along with a redesigned dining room. It’s a historic, traditional little French hotel, and I stayed there as part of a group. The food was lovely, and the hardworking proprietors and staff were friendly. Locals regularly come in for drinks and food. If you enjoy tradition, beautiful countryside, good food and a range of wines and beers, you’ll enjoy it here. 😊

The staff were super friendly, and I really liked the place. I’ll be back.
