Appartement Palais Saint Pierre

We had a beautiful deluxe room, with quiet air conditioning and lovely bathroom products. Breakfast was outstanding, with a wide choice of produce. The hotel’s individual decor, art and sculpture give it a lot of character, and it’s in an excellent location. The understated elegance and attention to detail were lovely, but Regis’ wonderful hosting is what really made our July stay. Thank you.

Our room was quiet, had everything we needed, and the bed gave us a wonderful night's sleep. The hotel is elegant and tastefully furnished, and the owner was very friendly. Since we arrived on a Sunday night, he gave us suggestions for places to eat. We were just passing through on the way back to London from a holiday in the Dordogne and only stayed one night, though we wished we could have stayed longer. I can’t fault this lovely place and would highly recommend it.

The breakfast was beautiful and abundant, with a spectacular range of food. They’ll prepare eggs and bring ham and other things if you ask. The rooms are small but thoughtfully equipped, with gorgeous toiletries, nice linens, extra pillows, and a fridge stocked with water and drinks. The decor is chic, and the whole small hotel is charming, stylish, and welcoming. Regis helped with every detail and was so kind. We arrived on a Monday, when all the good restaurants were closed, but the hotel more than made up for it. It was the bright spot of our visit to Saumur.

Breakfast was a real treat, with homemade jams, crêpes and pastries. We had a lovely stay in this gorgeous hotel, right in the centre, and all the staff were so helpful.
