We spent a couple of days at La Lambertine just after getting married, and it was exactly the calm and friendly break we needed after a busy week. The owners made us feel so welcome, and the jacuzzi gave us our first chance to properly relax after all the wedding planning. They were thoughtful about the timing and brought us a glass of wine, which made it feel special. Breakfast was amazing, especially the homemade jams. We liked them so much we bought some to take home. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, and the bathroom was particularly nice. The garden was a lovely place to sit, and being just outside the center meant it was peaceful. Getting there from the station took only a couple of minutes by taxi. Taxis into town and to attractions farther along the Loire were easy to arrange, and there were nearby bike hire stations too. We feel lucky we stayed at such a welcoming place for the first days of our married life. We both recommend La Lambertine for a romantic few days.

There are only three rooms at La Lambertine, where the owners also live, so the place feels very private. My room was lovely, cozy, comfortable, and well kept. It's about a 15-minute walk from Saumur train station, and I had a fantastic short stay. Alain was kind and hospitable. When I checked out, he even offered to drop me at a nearby spot. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with quality ingredients. Spa facilities were available, though I didn't use them. They also have a cute little dog. I highly recommend it, you'll be looked after and comfortable.

We spent two excellent nights in the White Room. It's very spacious and spotlessly clean, and Alain was attentive in just the right way, generous, and genuinely kind. We highly recommend staying here and hope to see you soon. Cyrielle and Corentin

The hosts were welcoming and helpful, and I enjoyed unwinding in the jacuzzi with a glass of wine. I was also pleasantly surprised by how charming and elegant the inside of the house was. Breakfast was excellent, with some lovely homemade jams. Thank you for your hospitality.

Alain and his wife gave us a warm welcome. The room was beautiful and spotless, and we discovered we share a love of making jam. Their excellent jams were part of breakfast. Highly recommended.
