The owners were very welcoming, and both speak English well. They served an excellent breakfast. Our comfortable room was on the second floor of a charming house, within walking distance of the château and town centre. It had a modern shower room and a separate toilet.

Breakfast was generous and excellent, with homemade jams, pancakes and yogurts, such a treat! Our hosts were welcoming and friendly, and gave us helpful tips and recommendations. We also appreciated the comfortable room, good value for money, nearby parking, and the beautiful bourgeois house with its flower garden. The region is magnificent and makes you want to return. And don’t miss the owner’s lovely paintings. She has a lot of talent to develop. Congratulations, and thank you!

Breakfast had lots of homemade things, and we got great sightseeing tips too. The welcome was perfect. We had a very pleasant, especially peaceful two-night stay, close enough to walk into the centre of Saumur. We’ll certainly return to explore more of the region.

The owners made us feel very welcome, and the room was so comfortable. It had its own shower and toilet, plus a kettle and coffee. Breakfast was excellent, especially the pear jam, which you should definitely try. A wonderful experience. Thanks for everything! 🤩
