In a beautiful village with character, we stayed in a lovely room in a lovely house and garden, with a lovely pool too. The hostess is very friendly and attentive, and happy to suggest nearby places to visit and restaurants. She even called the restaurant herself to make our reservation. The bedding was very good, and breakfast was generous and good. I recommend it.

Our vacation started badly when Francine called to say the last day had been double-booked. There were four of us, including three friends, and we could only stay five days instead of six. Later, she tried to charge us for various things, including a fan and a sixth day we hadn’t used. When we refused those charges, she threatened to call the police. We won’t return and advise people against booking this B&B. We felt she was a real scammer. The room had no fan or air conditioning, even though it was 38 degrees, and we had to ask for one. There was no small fridge for food and drinks. Francine refused to store our things in her fridge at first, and only agreed after a lot of insisting. She even refused to keep a carton of milk for a three-year-old who was there on vacation with his parents. Breakfast was meager, monotonous, and unappetizing. We ate outside under a parasol, where flies kept landing on the food, and she refused to cover it. She picked up the toppings with her hands, even after we said we found that unhygienic. A large bottle of water cost €5, and clean bed linen was only changed after a week, for a fee. Thank you, Mira and Meisi.

Francine is a wonderful person, and her house feels welcoming. We had an exceptional stay and would gladly come back. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

We had a really nice week, with good food and excellent wine. Francine was a very good hostess, and Toshka is a cool dog.

Francine gave us a very warm welcome and knows the region well, so she can offer useful advice. Her room was very nice, and the breakfast was generous and varied, with different kinds of bread, more like brunch than breakfast. The medieval village is beautiful, with narrow streets to wander and rocks to hike among. Highly recommended.
