Le Jardin des Roses

We're making a note of this place so we can come back in spring, when we can enjoy the park view and blooming roses 🌸. We stayed one night at the end of December with our 18-year-old son, and had a wonderful, comfortable stay with superb amenities. We loved the decor and fantastic breakfast, and our hosts had put in lots of thoughtful touches that we really appreciated.

We stayed at Le Jardin des Roses for two summers in a row, in the Victorine apartment, with our 2-year-old son. The big garden and splendid house made us fall for this little gem in Saverne. Rubina and Laurent looked after us so well each time. Breakfast was delicious and high quality, the travel cot was in perfect condition, and the rooms were spotless and tastefully decorated. We’ll be back next summer ❤️

I’ll keep this place in mind for a future Christmas market trip to Strasbourg, since it’s only 40 minutes away. I’m from Lyon and travel a lot, usually staying in places like Ibis, and I booked here on a whim. The price was incredible for what you get. It’s 10 minutes from the train station, check-in and check-out are self-service, and as soon as I arrived I felt at home. It has all the amenities you could want. After so many impersonal hotels, that feeling of coming home made a real difference to me.

Thanks so much for accommodating our last-minute reservation. From the moment you step inside, it feels like a boutique hotel where every detail has been considered. Everything is clean, well maintained and set up for comfort. I can’t think of anything else you could ask for.
