The hostess was easy to reach and very helpful. We had a lovely week in a quiet cottage tucked away in nature, with great walks and plenty of lovely things to discover nearby.

The setting is lovely, and we were welcomed very warmly. There was a good range of kitchen tools and dishes, though having sugar for coffee or tea might have earned an extra star. There were no linens, and when we came back from an outing, there was an odd smell like sewage. Wi-Fi was unavailable and kept dropping out, and the 4G signal wouldn't get through the walls either. At checkout, the person was quite unfriendly, though perfectly polite, and asked why we'd left the coffee and tea without clothespins on the bags for the next guests. That's why I gave it three stars.

The cottage was beautiful, and the hosts were so friendly. We had a great weekend, September 18th to 20th, and got a really lovely welcome. We'd happily come back.

We stayed over the 2022 Pentecost weekend. It was a lovely spot, and the home-style food was delicious.
