Le Moulin De Laumet

Those fresh baguettes with blackberry jam are still on my mind. My wife and I were the only guests during our five-day stay in October 2024, visiting family nearby, so it was wonderfully quiet. Aline and Denis, along with Obie the dog, made us feel very welcome, and breakfast was fantastic. It's a little way out of town, so restaurants aren't within walking distance, but the peace and relaxation made that worthwhile. We'll stay here again when we're back.

We couldn't try the set menu at that time of year, but Aline and Denis pointed us to Le Potz nearby, which turned out to be a lovely find. They welcomed us like old friends, with so much warmth. The Moulin de Launet was a great choice for our first bike ride of the year: the restoration is remarkable, and our room had plenty of charm, comfort, and excellent bedding. We also loved the generous breakfast and the quiet surroundings. A wonderful weekend, thank you!

The mill is beautifully renovated and decorated, and the natural setting is stunning. Everything was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. The owners gave us a warm, straightforward welcome and were wonderfully attentive and professional. This was a lovely surprise and well worth the detour. We had a lovely stay here, thanks in part to the welcoming, open owners. It's a beautiful old building in a peaceful stretch of the Gers countryside, just right if you enjoy quiet. I highly recommend it.
