All the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, but the internet was incredibly slow. Websites barely loaded, or took ages, and I couldn't book train tickets or hotels. If I'd known, I never would have stayed at Le Forum. Breakfast was awful for 16 euros. The coffee was undrinkable, and it was just a continental spread of croissants, cheese and rolls. There might be some ham if you got there in time. No water, just a very small carafe of mixed fruit juice.

The staff were lovely and welcoming, and the room itself was nice, though it had a bit of a smell, perhaps from years of smoking in there. The soundproofing wasn't great, but it was still a fine stay. Getting here from Strasbourg center was easy, with a bus stop close by, and it's walkable when the buses stop running.

We stayed in a double room from Dec 23-25 for the market. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they provided good free chocolate, which was a nice touch. The room was cozy and pretty clean. Bus C3 gets you to the center every 20 minutes, except on holidays. The internet kept cutting in and out.

The new bathroom is the one part that looks fresh. Everything else feels old and quite deteriorated, and the place feels a bit dirty. The hotel seems weird for the price. I couldn't even adjust the heating, the insulation is nonexistent, and the wifi is useless. I'm writing this on my phone network because I couldn't get online with the wifi. I don't understand how it survives at the price we paid for the room. Breakfast elsewhere seems a better bet than the 16€ they ask for: a few pastries, bread, some cold boiled eggs, and an automatic coffee machine.

We stayed just one night. For the price, the hotel was satisfactory, and the service was kind. The room was big enough for two guests, though there weren't many breakfast choices.
