I stayed alone for two nights in mid-March while attending training in the area. The lodge is well located near Douvaine, Thonon les Bains and Yvoire, and the owner was very pleasant to deal with. It was clean and tidy when I arrived, with good equipment including a TV, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and cooktop. My only complaint was the bathroom sink size, though there isn’t much room to make it larger.

The lodge itself is lovely and well equipped, but the internet issue wasn’t fixed during our stay. The bathroom sink is much too small, and the shower drained poorly. Some shower gel or a small bar of soap would have helped, since we had to wash with dish soap 😂. There was just one teaspoon for the two of us.

Good value for money, with a kitchenette, small fridge and TV screen. The stay was very good and I’d come back. The only small drawback was that the bathroom sink felt a bit too small.

We had a fantastic welcome, and everything was perfect. The beds were comfortable, towels were provided, and the kitchenette was superbly equipped, including a Senseo coffee machine. There’s also a terrace. I highly recommend it!

Everything you need is here, and the place is welcoming, comfortable and quiet. The location is good too, not far from Lake Geneva and Thonon. Sciez is a very pretty town.
