The visit to Don du Fel, which Christelle suggested, was a highlight for us, and we also explored Marcillac, Conques, Bozouls, Rodez and several lovely villages farther up the Lot. Clos Marty made a great base for seeing northern Aveyron. We spent three nights there in May on a road trip and were glad we found a room. The setting is quiet and lovely, with beautiful views. Inside, the tasteful room was very comfortable, the bed was amazing, and we slept really well. The shower was great too. Breakfast was fresh and homemade each morning, and Christelle served it with such warmth. She was friendly, helpful with suggestions, and lovely to chat with. Estaing is only a short drive down the hill, a beautiful town on the Lot and worth a few hours to explore. We also really enjoyed Chez Mon Père, both the food and the wonderful owners. We'd happily come back, and highly recommend Clos Marty as a chambre d'hôte.

Our host was patient with my not-so-good French and gave us useful pointers about the area. The peaceful location is about 2 miles from Estaign. We found the spacious room in the beautifully renovated building very comfortable, too.

The view from the property is just lovely, and breakfast was delicious. Christelle was so welcoming and had good suggestions for places to see around Aveyron. A great spot to slow down and recharge while travelling.

Breakfast was homemade with fresh ingredients, and the panoramic view made it even better. Christelle gave us a really warm welcome and came to collect us by car in Estaing. Our room was spotless and comfortable. A great place to stay.
