Hotel Première Classe Lille Sud - Seclin

I barely slept, with doors banging all night, people shouting to each other, children crying, and parents yelling. People were smoking right outside my window too. They moved my room next to the stairs without telling me, and that was awful. The night watchman was great. He tried to tell everyone to keep it down after midnight, though we’d been told it would be quiet from 10 pm.

The person who checked us in was very friendly, and the parking area felt safe. The hotel itself has seen better days. For the price, it was alright for one night. The rooms were small, but the beds were comfortable enough.

The room was tiny and not cheap, and there was no air conditioning despite what the picture showed. There’s no hair dryer or fan either, so sleeping there in summer gets very hot. I wouldn’t go in the summer.

We came for RugbyWorldCup and paid a huge premium. We knew the room would be tiny, but it also smelled of old cigarettes, the door seemed dodgy, and the radiator was coming off the wall. It blasted on early in the morning even though it was already hot, and we were woken by the people next door. The reception staff were lovely. “Cheap and cheerful” this was not.
