LANDEL

Set in a magnificent region, this cottage is spacious, very pleasant, and quiet. It worked really well for a big get-together with family or friends.

The garden made it easy for the children, ages 2 to 12, to run around safely and enjoy the play equipment, while the adults could unwind outside among the nature and quiet. We also took walks to nearby farms and animals, and the farmers were very welcoming. We had a lovely family week in this comfortable, spacious house. It really feels made for family stays, with its old-world charm and character.

There are lovely walks about 15 minutes away by car, plus nearby activities like the honey farm and goat farm. Murat is also close, where the priory of the brothers of St Jean offers a chance to spend meaningful spiritual time. We had a wonderful family week at Landel. The house suited three generations well, with plenty of bedroom space, including room to add travel cots if needed. It also had all the everyday equipment we needed, and the outdoor areas were very pleasant.

Allanche's tourist offices are less than 15 km away, and we found the stay pure bliss. The accommodation was pleasant and roomy compared with the rooms we have in town. I'd recommend renting sheets. The beds were very comfortable, but their dimensions don't seem to match current standards anymore. Otherwise, nothing negative to say.
