The lake and its park, with a restaurant nearby, are an easy five-minute walk downhill. Back at the campsite, there’s a laid-back pool and bar with a view across the valley. The pitches are roomy and open, with plenty of shade, and the facilities are modern and clean. We stayed for one night last year, came back for another this year to make sure it wasn’t a one-off, and loved it both times. We also met several families with young kids who were staying for weeks. The couple who run the campsite and restaurant are great. It’s rustic, not the Trump Intl hotel, but a lovely stop if you’re in the area. Happy to recommend it 👍👍👍

The lake is about 350 metres’ walk from the bottom of the campsite. It has two diving boards and supervised swimming in August, and there’s room for all ages to swim, canoe, paddleboard, or just float. The campsite itself has a fabulous pool, terrace, and bar-restaurant, plus spacious pitches that are mostly shaded. Thierey and Marion, the French couple who run the place, speak perfect English and are wonderful hosts. We had a fantastic time on our second visit, our first was in 2016, and plan to come back in another two years. Highly recommend.
