Bastide Provençale Les Mûriers d'Engaspaty

The countryside views and the privacy of our own outdoor space were a real treat, and we liked being able to book the private hot tub. We stayed in a brand new, fully renovated apartment with a great kitchen that had everything we needed. Anouchka and her husband were delightful hosts. When we arrived, Anouchka took time to help us get settled and make sure we were comfortable. The stone bastide has been fully renovated and is beautiful. It’s close to Seillans, Fayence, and Montaroux. My wife and I absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it.

We found the house very relaxing and hope to return. The owner was friendly and very helpful, and it’s well placed for trips by rental car to nearby Seillans, as well as Nice and Antibes. We also had a section of garden just for us. There are two pools and a jacuzzi, and the owner has clearly put a lot of thought into the decorations inside and out. My family and I had a fantastic stay.

The location was amazing, with lakes nearby and Cannes and Nice close enough for a visit. Anoushka was so friendly and helpful, with tips for places to see, things to do, and restaurants. We were a family of four, with a thirteen year old and a three year old, and the accommodation worked really well for us. It was beautiful, clean, and well equipped, with a private garden. We also used both pools. The children especially loved the larger one, which has a garden area that’s great for relaxing. We’d definitely love to come back!

You can see the Milky Way at night, and the setting is so tranquil, even with children. The gîte had everything we needed, and the location put us near lakes, rivers, mountains, and beautiful villages, while the coast was only an hour away. Our two children loved the pools and trampolines, and our three year old had so many toys provided to play with. Anouchka and Olivier were brilliant hosts from the start to the end. We were welcomed warmly and shown around when we arrived, and Anouchka took care of us throughout our holiday. We’ve just returned to the UK after a magical stay in the South of France. Couldn’t recommend it more, and we’ll be back. Thank you so much, Anouchka and Olivier! xxx
