Thanks for the warm welcome. The rooms are spotless and the bedding feels high quality. It’s a shame the Samaran Hotel no longer has a restaurant, despite what the photos suggest. This little hotel deserves more recognition.

We paid €67.50 for the room, two breakfasts, and tourist tax. The hotel itself was clean, though the room felt dated and that style may not suit everyone. We’d picked it hoping to mix work with a bit of enjoyment, so learning that on-site dining had permanently ended, despite the advertisement, was a real disappointment. The owner confirmed it was a permanent decision.

We had a spacious, comfortable room with a view over the Gers countryside, and it was clean too. The owner welcomed us so warmly. We stayed three days at the start of September, and breakfast was ready early before we set off for the Pyrenees. I’d definitely recommend this place!

The decor could be more modern, but everything works, and the room was roomy with good bedding. The boss was friendly, breakfast was very good, and the price felt fair for what we got.

For the price, the rooms are more than adequate, and the restaurant is outstanding, with excellent food made from top local ingredients. The owner is very welcoming and clearly a real food enthusiast, spending his free time seeking out culinary discoveries across France. For me, the whole experience was faultless by far. Highly recommended.
