We arrived with my family after making a mistake on the booking platform. Travel plans get hectic, and these things happen. The woman with glasses at the front desk was rude and condescending right away, speaking to us as if we were trying to scam the hotel instead of asking for help with a booking error. She showed no empathy or willingness to help us find another option. I asked for a manager, hoping someone else could help sort it out. She said that was impossible and she was the only person I could speak to. I find that hard to believe. Every hotel has someone responsible on duty, especially one that's part of an American hotel chain. Either she was lying, or the hotel has no accountability. I tried speaking with the other front desk employee, but she kept interrupting before I could finish explaining. Neither seemed interested in helping. We left and booked a nearby hotel, where the staff treated us like guests. The difference was night and day. I know mistakes can happen on either side, but the way a hotel handles them says a lot. This location completely failed us. No problem-solving, professionalism, or basic courtesy. I won't return, and I'd encourage others to think twice before booking here.

We stopped for a night on our way back to the Netherlands, and both my daughter and I felt comfortable and welcome. Check-in was easy thanks to the friendly, helpful staff, and our clean, spacious, cozy room gave us a great night's rest before setting off again. The location was easy to find and really convenient for travelers. The facilities were modern, well maintained, and had everything we needed. I highly recommend Hotel Escapade Senlis – Best Western Plus for families, solo travelers, or anyone visiting the area.

Room 118 was beside the stairs, even though I'd asked for a quiet room. I asked to cancel, but the woman refused and offered to move us if we paid the difference. I didn't accept. On top of that, my hamburger was red and I got sick. The room phone didn't work, it was just vintage decoration.

I wouldn't expect to sleep in rooms 118 or 119 between 01:00 and 06:45, even with earplugs. They're right beside the stairs and much too noisy. Staff know about the problem but don't offer a solution.

The family room was well priced and very clean, like the rest of the hotel. It came with a pull-out bed, though those are rarely very comfortable and this one wasn't great either. We skipped breakfast at 19€ per person, instead picking up pastries and fresh strawberries at a little morning marketplace.
