Un temps pour soi

Really nice room, and the croissants were super good. The bathroom being downstairs was the only inconvenience. There wasn’t any milk for breakfast.

Marie is very kind, helpful, and understanding when things are emotionally difficult. She’s even a therapist. The house is tiny and doesn’t block much sound, though, so privacy is limited. There’s just one room beside hers, and the shared private bathroom can only be reached through the living room. When I was there, other guests were using that space in the morning. The village streets are very narrow and steep, too. If you need a little more room and privacy like I do, this probably isn’t the right place. I also found it a bit expensive for what’s offered.

The final 200 meters take a bit of effort, but the view from the charming room makes up for it. When we arrived Marie wasn’t there, though the house was open and she’d left us a lovely welcome note. Later she came out to the wonderful terrace with a carafe of water, and we had a chat. She’s such a pleasant person. There are just two rooms, both large, and the bathroom is spacious too. Breakfast was lovingly set out in the big kitchen-living room at the time we chose. Perfect coffee, assorted breads, fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, jam, and incredibly delicious salted butter, which I love. Thanks for everything, Marie!

A lovely, comfortable room and a well-equipped shared bathroom. Marie welcomed us warmly and pointed us to a good place for dinner. The location worked really well for our ViaRhôna route, and we enjoyed having breakfast included. Thanks, Marie, for a pleasant stay!
