La Cabane d'Isa

We had a very good stay as a couple, and would especially recommend this place for its beauty, the friendly owners, and their dedication. We shared an excellent meal at their table, everything homemade, and it felt like being at a friend’s house. We’ll definitely do this again.

We really enjoyed staying in this lovely little fishing neighborhood in Sète. It feels calm and pleasant, away from the crowds downtown. The cottage was spotless, easy to get to, and decorated with a lot of care. Having two terraces and air conditioning was a real bonus. The host welcomed us warmly, and we’d like to thank her son as well. Getting around by bike is awkward here because the neighborhood is right by the car bridge, though there are cycle paths if you head to the villages around the Thau lagoon. There aren’t many places to park, and the beaches are about 15 minutes away by car, so you need a car to reach them. The host wasn’t around during our week-long stay, and we would’ve appreciated some tips on Sète and what to visit. Also, the cottage is only set up for two people.

From the terrace on its hillside setting, the apartment has a lovely outlook over the Thau Lagoon. The sunrises are beautiful, and you can watch the fishermen coming and going throughout the day. Isa was warm and attentive, and the place was easy to reach, tastefully decorated, and peaceful. I’d happily recommend it.

We loved sitting on the two little terraces and looking out at the pond and boats. The cabin is in a charming fishing village that’s wonderfully quiet, and the apartment itself is just right, well equipped and nicely decorated.
