The house was in perfect shape, and our host was so nice. We had a terrific family stay with all four kids, and we'd definitely come back.

We felt really comfortable and well cared for here. The big room upstairs was clean and comfortable, and breakfast in the cozy dining room had a family feel, with a regional specialty featured each time. Thierry and his wife have lovingly renovated the house, which used to belong to the abbey next door, and they're both friendly, helpful, and accommodating. There's a lovely garden behind the house with a donkey and two cats, along with a pool and terrace. Parking is next door on the abbey grounds, and Chinon, the nearest larger town, is just 8 km away. This was the fifth stop on our tour of France.

The large pool and beautifully flowered grounds around the manor made for a delightful stay. Chantal and Thierry welcomed us so warmly, and the abbey is magnificent. The gîte is very pleasant.

It felt like a dream stay for my wife and me. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the garden with its pool was fantastic. Our room was beautiful and spacious, with an attic featuring exposed beams and a spectacular old circular staircase leading up to it. The place is enchanting, a former abbey that’s been renovated into a hotel.

The garden among the roses is magnificent, and the pool and guesthouse round out the place nicely. It’s wonderfully peaceful, and the owners are so friendly and welcoming. The rooms and suites are perfect. A magical place, and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommended!
