During our French Motorcycle Ride, we stayed at this lovely hotel. The young man and his wife made us feel welcome and spoke good English. Service was great, and we also had a lovely evening meal at the restaurant.

The forest bike riding around here is lovely. The Hôtel and restaurant fit in well with French food traditions, and I had an excellent blue steak with a rich sauce.

We found this place at the last minute while touring the area by motorbike, on a busy holiday weekend, and were lucky to get a booking. The owners and staff were both friendly and very professional. They speak a little English, so communication was no problem, and I got to practice my French. Our room was beautiful, clean and modern, and they let us keep the bike in their garage. The food was excellent, the scenery around the hotel is beautiful, and it's right on a fabulous biking road. There are lovely spa facilities too. The 100yr old vine is worth seeing. We'd definitely return.

The breakfast was very good, and the location is beautiful. It would be nice if Sewen could find a way to get cars and bikes to slow down as they pass the hotel, to cut the noise. It's also perfectly placed for practice ahead of the next tour de France.

A real hidden gem for the whole region, run by a lovely family with a superb kitchen. The price is reasonable, and it includes the Spa.
