Hôtel Le Vieux Tilleul

The bed was comfortable, and above all, the room was completely quiet. That was the main thing for us, though comfort in the room was our one complaint. The hotel is charming and well located, with private parking. The managers were very welcoming, and my partner especially enjoyed the owner's humor and direct manner. Breakfast was excellent, and dinner was amazing.

The rooms are on the ground floor or first floor, and the stairs can be a little difficult for an older person. If that's a concern, talk it over with the owner, Pascale, who's very kind. The welcome from her and her employee was friendly and family-like. This beautiful hotel and restaurant is a renovated old farm surrounded by a two-hectare park, beside a river, at an altitude of 1,160 meters in Seyne les alpes. If you like "Vintage," you'll enjoy the feel. It's very good value, and Pascale cooks food worthy of a fine restaurant herself. You can even have it as part of half-board at an affordable price for everyone. Alain VOLA

We came for a quiet weekend and got exactly that, with no noise at all and a magnificent mountain view. We also ate at the restaurant several times, and the food was simply extraordinary. The whole team at Le Vieux Tilleul made us feel very welcome. A big thank you for such a relaxing stay.

The food was outstanding, both at breakfast and during meals, with Italian specialties and fresh local ingredients, some homemade too. A real treat. The welcome was exceptionally warm yet discreet. The room was simple and comfortable, with proper blankets instead of a duvet, which I appreciated. There wasn't a TV in the room, but guests can watch one in the small lounges. I meant to mention this charming hotel, a converted farmhouse in the plain below the village of Seyne, with a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains.
