It’s quiet at night, and the location worked well for us: about a 25-minute walk to the old town, with bakeries and supermarkets just 10 minutes away. The place felt more like student housing or a residential unit than a regular hotel. Our room had what we needed, including a well-equipped little kitchen for making a quick meal. It was clean, but could use some paint touch-ups and small repairs. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean, though I would’ve liked another cushion. The one provided was huge and uncomfortable to sleep on. The bathroom was clean and the shower had good water pressure, but there was a strong, strange smell that lingered. One of the wall lights beside the bed kept flickering and needed a new bulb. We told reception, but it wasn’t fixed during our seven-day stay. It felt like staff weren’t paying much attention to guest requests, which was disappointing.

The staff were nice, and it was a good spot for a short stay. The kitchenette and fridge were useful, and the place was well equipped. It’s clean but old, which makes it look a bit run down, and the bed was too soft for us. There was a sewer smell in the bathroom. Only six free parking spaces are available, and they’re always full, so otherwise you pay 3 euro for the night to use another parking lot.

Great location, very friendly staff, and a really good room size for the price. The facilities were good too.

The beds are comfortable, but the room feels worn and functional rather than inviting. There’s also an unpleasant smell in the shower room.

For a busy weekend in Annecy, when many places were full, this was the best value we found. The hotel was clean, the breakfast was great, and the staff were super friendly. It may need some refurbishment soon, though. We kept getting a cigarette smell through the ventilation. It wasn’t coming from the hallway or outside our window. Reception seemed to know about the issue, but didn’t seem concerned.
