Résidence Villa Sully Seynod-Annecy

The manager and staff were friendly and helpful, and the price was very reasonable for decent hospitality. It worked well for a short stop outside Annecy, especially with easy access to the fast road for continuing the journey. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable, and the kitchen had useful facilities including a coffee machine. I’m not sure I’d choose it for a holiday spent visiting Annecy itself, but it was just right for a night in transit.

The staff were really nice, and the A/C worked well on hot summer days. But the beds smelled like old people, and by morning my skin smelled that way too 😑. The Wi-Fi signal was poor, still running on Wi-Fi 4, so an upgrade would help. I also woke up in the middle of the night when the outside blinds randomly opened on their own.

It was okay.

The apartment was very clean and practical, and we got an excellent welcome. The phone service was another story. On the first call, someone who wasn't from the concierge service answered rather curtly. When I called again, the person made no effort to correct the date on the invoice and made it clear they didn't consider it their problem. The service had made a mistake when we checked out, which is a shame because the way it was handled spoiled the experience.
