The room was basic, but clean, with really good a/c, which was welcome in the heat. We had a delicious prix fix dinner with our stay, and the outdoor patio dining area has beautiful views of the Rhone. The riverside location is scenic and lovely. I’d stay again.

For a good meal, I recommend Hotel Beau Séjour. On a nice day, try for a table on the balcony overlooking the Rhone. It’s good value, and the local Lambert Vieilles Vignes whit wine is worth trying 😋. Seyssel, split between Ain downtown and Haute-Savoie uptown, is a beautiful little town where you could easily spend half a day. Kayaking is available too if you’re after a bit of adventure!

The staff were very friendly and had somewhere to keep our bikes while we toured along Via Rhona. Our room was clean, with a good shower and bed, though it could use a refurbishment. It was reasonable for what we paid.

The restaurant food was really good, and breakfast was outstanding. There’s a dedicated place to store bikes, and the hotel is in an excellent spot. The bed was comfortable, the shower was good, and the people were nice.
