The breakfast was just right, and the room felt airy and really comfortable. We only stayed one night, but the two hosts made us feel so welcome. A little hidden gem. We’d happily come back.

Still love you, Mike, your wife and Winston! Roman and Sonja think this is the best B&B ever.

The room was spacious, clean and had all the useful little things, including toiletries and a welcome tray. The bed was comfortable too. This place sits right in a village in the Charente region, and we got a genuinely warm welcome from hosts who seemed happy to have us and paid close attention to everything. Breakfast has changed from the buffet they had before the pandemic. Now you choose the day before from a big list, with plenty of sweet and savory choices, all excellent. The one downside was street noise when we had the window open.

The restored house was warm, comfortable and very clean for our short trip with friends. The hosts were attentive and kind, with a great sense of humor. I recommend it without hesitation.
