We had four very relaxing nights. Valerie cooked for us on the first evening, and it was delicious, with local produce and homemade vinegars and liqueurs. The countryside view was stunning, and Simba, the family cat, has a lot of character. The room was pleasant. The toilet is in the room, screened off, and there’s another one outside that you can use too. It’s a good base for getting out and about. Highly recommend.

We were five in the family and had a wonderful stay in Valérie’s lodge. Living beneath the trees was lovely, and the view is beautiful. The accommodation was comfortable, well equipped and very well located. Valérie was always available, which we really appreciated.

Valérie and Fabrice welcomed me like family, and I’m grateful for that. I stayed in the Lily room at the Symes, which is spacious and beautifully decorated. Between Fabrice’s lovely organized walks, dinners by the pool and the hearty breakfasts Valérie prepares, often cooking much of it herself, there’s plenty to enjoy. The hosts are kind, welcoming and full of good advice. It’s the kind of place I’d want to return to. Highly recommended.

Thank you again, Valérie, for your hospitality. The welcome, location, setting and pool were all perfect. I highly recommend this gîte.

We had such a lovely time at Valérie and Fabrice’s. They’re excellent hosts, and the peaceful place has a magnificent view. We shared a delicious dinner with them, then had breakfast made with fresh local and homemade products. We’d gladly visit again if we’re back in the area.
