Hôtel restaurant U.Pozzu

We had a really nice few nights here. The staff were very friendly, and between a bit of French and some English, everything was clear. Breakfast was traditional, so not too big, but delicious. The restaurant wasn’t open for dinner when we visited, though I bet the food would be fantastic. There are a couple of nearby choices: a very popular restaurant with outdoor seating and a bar, plus a takeaway pizzeria so good that even the whole firefighting squad eats there in the evenings. The hotel is nice, with rooms opening onto the walk-through balconies. There’s parking out back, accessed from a nearby street, but very low cars might not get in.

We had a lovely stay, and the room service staff were always smiling and ready to help. Getting checked in could’ve been easier if the instructions had been clearer. The location was great too, with the beach, boulangerie, convenience store, and diving centre all just a short walk away.

The fixed price menu was very good, and it’s a small hotel with a good restaurant. Some extra food seems to end up in the refrigerator at the very nearby Utile supermarket, which could be useful to remember if you’ve rented a villa. It’s good, though I liked les chenes in Pietracorbara, in the next valley to the north, better.

Great food and beautiful views from the patio. Cute, very clean, and simple, but with lots of privacy.
