The pitches for tents and campervans are tucked away behind hedges, so the place feels quite rural. There are facilities for waste, water, and electricity, and we got a very friendly welcome. It’s right in the middle of town, though: a 10-20 minute walk gets you to a shingle beach and a lovely harbour that, to us, has a nice balance between natural and developed. We think this place is brilliant.
It’s good to have campsites like this still open in October. We arrived at midday while the owner happened to be there; she was very friendly and showed us the only available pitch. Most of the sandy pitches are under the pines. It’s a short walk to the beach and harbour, and the toilet block was clean and fine.
The facilities get a 10/10. Great campsite, lovely staff, a good price, and an amazing location.
A small, quiet campsite with toilets and showers, within walking distance of the beaches and plenty of restaurants. The man at the desk was really kind, and we enjoyed our visit.
A friendly, family-style campsite with clean toilets, close to both the beach and town, as well as some beautiful nature reserves. They lent us an electricity adapter, which was really helpful. Thank you!
