La Largarde

Christèle Beaune, France, May 2025 At La Lagarde, Françoise and Olivier welcome you to a peaceful haven where birdsong and cicadas are the only sounds that break the quiet. The setting is enchanting and breathtakingly beautiful, awakening all your senses. We loved taking time under the pergola, among the trees and flowers, looking out over the fountain pool. A cozy room made for restful nights, and a carefully prepared breakfast served on delicate, romantic tableware, with sun-drenched flavors. From waking up onward, it felt like a dream. Françoise and Olivier are exceptionally kind and devoted to making the stay unforgettable. A huge thank you for this wonderful visit. We can't wait to return. Christèle and Christophe 🤗

We could hardly believe our luck during our two nights at this stunning place. It was the highlight of our trip through the South of France. The host family lives here, but you can move freely around the property and are well looked after. The accommodation is very quiet, and you don't notice the city, even though the beach and other places are easy to reach by car. After a great breakfast, we enjoyed going out during the day, then coming back to relax and cool off in the pool. It's set in a converted fountain, with lots of cozy little spots to sit in the garden. Our room was modern, clean, and beautifully designed. It had air conditioning, a TV with streaming services, a window that can be fully darkened, and a new, very clean bathroom. We slept wonderfully in the large bed under a king-size duvet. The thoughtful touches in the decor, furnishings, and tableware were especially nice. Breakfast offered both sweet and savory options and was really good. The hostess was warm, helpful, and friendly, serving us cool drinks throughout the day. At our request, she also prepared an excellent dinner with wine for an additional fee. Even though we didn't speak the same language, we got along really well. I definitely recommend this wonderful place!

We visited in July 2024 and were made to feel very welcome. It's a superb place with a clean room and warm hosts. The breakfast was top-notch, too. We'd gladly come back.

The farmhouse is a lovely Provençal place in the forest, just minutes from the sea, yet completely peaceful. Our room was very comfortable, with elegant decor. Breakfast was homemade, incredible, and delicious. The owner was friendly and full of energy, and gave us great tips for local attractions. We'll definitely return!
