The sandy beach is right beside the campsite, and there’s plenty of room under the trees to pick your own pitch. We got a friendly welcome from an older man who didn’t speak English, then a woman kindly spoke with us in English the next morning. The place feels stuck in the 1960s, though, and the toilets were really dirty. It’s otherwise quiet, but music from the neighboring bar or campsite gets very loud at night.

Right on the beach, with a sun terrace and a bar that seems to serve coffee, though we didn’t try it. It’s a quiet, shady place where you can choose your own pitch, and there are some long-term campers. In the morning, the same man sells fresh baguettes, sweet bread, and croissants, then has a small shop with basic essentials in the afternoon. The owner is super nice and speaks French, Italian, German, and English, so check-in is easy. Facilities are basic but adequate. A great choice for a quiet night :)

We really liked the quiet, off-grid feel and how easy it was to get straight onto the beach. The owner was very friendly, and the older facilities were clean. The one issue was the price: we were charged more than the website listed and didn’t get the 30% off-season rate. Still, I’d recommend it.

The campsite itself is poorly maintained, and the showers were awful: dirty, cold, and you have to hold the showerhead in your hand. Camping Europa beach is very nice if you stay in a house, though. Adding a star because they waited for us until we arrived at 12 o’clock.

You’ve got the basics at this campground, plus the beach right at your doorstep. The owner is funny and really friendly. There’s also a restaurant and laundry on site.
