We were two couples in our sixties, and didn’t appreciate being treated as if we were under constant watch. We’re not delinquents, even if our enthusiasm was audible during a rugby match. The owner doesn’t seem to have the right feel for running a gite, and the welcome was more than mixed. Our rooms were tiny, reached by two very narrow staircases. The towels felt like sandpaper, the kettle didn’t work, and there was no TV. Payment was cash or checks only, no credit cards. The invoice arrived later, even though we’d asked to have it at departure. There’s still work to do to make this a friendly place that respects its visitors’ good humor. We wouldn’t recommend it.

We were pleasantly surprised to have a large living room and well-equipped kitchen to use at no extra cost. Our room was pleasant and carefully decorated, and the hosts were charming and attentive. The place has lots of charm and history, though it still seems to be a work in progress. Breakfast was optional, traditional, and plentiful, with delicious homemade jam. A very good address.

We had a delightful night in a guesthouse on the Way of St. James. The welcome was warm, and the characterful building has been tastefully renovated. The living room, kitchen, and other spaces all seem thoughtfully arranged with guests’ comfort in mind.

You can take a peaceful stroll around this beautiful property. The rooms are lovely, the breakfast was excellent, and the owners are incredibly friendly. We felt right at home.

The owner was lovely and very accommodating, and gave us such a warm welcome. The cottages are peaceful, nicely furnished, and very pleasant. We felt comfortable and had a wonderful family holiday.
