Delphine gave us such a warm welcome and really looked after us. We only booked one night as a stop before the ferry at Calais, but this place is so lovely we could easily have stayed longer. It’s beautiful, quiet, private, and peaceful.

Delphine started sharing ideas for places to see, eat, and shop as soon as she picked us up from the train station. The hotel has just a few rooms, which makes it great for a bit of quiet time, and we happened to be the only guests. Our room was spacious and very well kept, and breakfast was simple but really tasty. I found the hotel while searching for somewhere near the Canadian War Memorial. It’s a great base for visiting the nearby memorials, and you can even hike to the Vimy Nation Monument, passing some smaller, less visited cemeteries along the way. The town is pleasant, with stores that stock excellent food.

I especially loved looking out at the two Woolley sheep in the beautiful gardens in the morning. Delfina and “The Director” made us feel right at home, and the attention to detail was exceptional. Perfect in every way! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
