The premium pitch was worth the extra for the sun beds, picnic table, stove and fridge. There was good entertainment, helpful staff, and great facilities, especially the pools and racing down the slides. We also had a beautiful view, and Souillac was handy for food shopping. There's lots to do nearby: we visited the gouffre de paderac caves, kayaked 22 km down the Dordogne after hiring from loisirs 19 from Atterat and stopped at a riverside cafe, then spent half a day at Rocmadour village. The surrounding towns are breathtaking, and it was a really lovely place to stay in France.

It's a lovely, quiet area, which also means you'll need a car to get to other things. Bringing bikes would help with some visits. The campsite itself is well maintained and in very good shape, and the people are friendly and welcoming. The kids could swim from early morning until late evening. We really enjoyed our time here with family and would go back.

We loved ending the day with a swim in the pool. The pitch was spacious and had much-needed shade. We didn't use the many children's facilities as an older couple, but the shop, restaurant, toilets and showers were all excellent. It deserves its five stars, and we'd come back.

There was some good cycling nearby, though the ride always ended with a tough climb up the hill. The site itself wasn't a bad experience, but we prefer plenty of other places. It felt too commercial for us, noisy late into the night, and some campers seemed competitive. We even saw arguments over sunbeds. My daughter usually loves kids clubs but didn't enjoy this one, and staff seemed less attentive than at sites we like. The bins and recycling were so far from the pitches that you'd almost need to drive. The chemical toilet disposal point was poorly signposted, a big oversight for a site with so many caravans. Some people ended up emptying them in the toilets. Yuk.
